The museum of money is located in Cetinje, in the former building of the first Montenegrin bank — the Central Bank of Montenegro. The museum was opened on April 11th 2012.

The museum is dedicated to Montenegrin money. It showcases coins and banknotes used in Montenegro, Serbia and, later, Yugoslavia. You can also see the collection of commemorative coins, made in late-XX century and dedicated to various historical events. There are also coin-making and banknote-printing machines on display.

The museum employs a guide, tours are provided in Montenegrin and English.

The museum is open throughout the year, admission fee is 2 Euro.
