KotorArt is the largest festival in the country. It started in 2002 as a music fest, and grew to the big cultural event since then.

In 2019, the festival was divided into four thematic blocks, musical (XVIII KotorArt Don Brankovi dani muzike), theater for children (XXVII KotorArt Kotorski Festival Pozorišta za Djecu), philosophical (IX KotorArt Pjaca od Filozofa) and klapa (XVIII KotorArt Festival Klapa Perast).

Klapa is a unique form of traditional a capella singing in Dalmatia. In 2012, this style of performance was included in the UNESCO List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Moreover, all XVIII KotorArt Festival Klapa Perast concerts are free. Tickets for the rest of the KotorArt events are available at the box offices throughout Montenegro, as well as online. The price starts from 5 euros and depends on the program.
