Herceg Novi is not only a popular resort, but a city with cultural heritage. Many Yugoslav writers, artists, musicians, and cinematographers lived and worked here.
Montenegro Film Festival was held in Herceg Novi for the first time in 1986. In 2019, the program consists of four parts, documentaries, full-length and student films by local directors, as well as the work of their European colleagues.
