"Josip Bepo Benkovic" is the premier art gallery of Hercog Novi, located in the center of the Old Town.
The gallery was founded on December 15th 1966 by the town artists and named after Josip Bepo Benkovic, a Croatian-born artist. The gallery hosted a couple of large exhibitions of his work in 1985, 1996, 2006 and 2016.
The gallery's permanent installation showcases works of different art styles and techniques by different generations of artists. It also hosts the annual Winter salon of modern art.
