One of Cetinje's two biggest parks — the Park of July 13th — is located to the right of Njegosev street and the Njegosev park. It was previously known as the Varos park (Turkish for "suburbs") or the City Park.

The park was built from 1891 to 1894 in the English style, characterized by more natural and incidental-looking planning.

Since 1968 both Cetinje parks are listed as protected natural landmarks.
