The Maritime musetm is located in the Palata Grgurina in Kotor's Old Town.

The museum opened its doors in 1938 and at first only took up the ground floor. After WWII it expanded to the rest of the palace.

On exhibit are items related to the history of maritime exploration in the Bay of Kotor from antiquity to today, including ship models, portraits of famous seafarers and ancient maps of the Adriatic Sea. You can also see various ethnographic objects, a weapons collection and a couple of rooms with restores interiors.

The museum is open the whole year. Admission is 4 Euro for adults, 1 Euro for children.
