The Sea Gate (Vrata od Mora), the main entrance to the Old Town, was built in the XVI century. Above the gates is a commemorative block with the date November 21st, 1944 — the day Kotor was liberated from Nazi Germany. You can also see Marshall Tito's quote and the coat of arms of Yugoslavia. Inside the arch remains a bas-relief depicting St. Mary, St. Tryphon and St. Bernard.
